TechBricks is a deep-tech venture studio founded in 2018 and based in Rome and Milan, Italy, specializing in building innovative solutions and disruptive ventures using exponential technologies including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Blockchain/DLT, IoT, Drones, Satellite Earth Observation, and other cutting-edge technologies. The studio focuses on three key sectors: Climate & Green Energy (renewable technologies, energy efficiency, sustainable resource management, climate change solutions), Smart Cities & Mobility (sustainable infrastructure, intelligent transport systems, electric micro-mobility), and HealthTech (advanced medical care technologies, diagnostics, healthcare access). TechBricks operates as both a venture studio building startups from scratch and a corporate venturing partner, managing the entire innovation cycle from design thinking and business planning through proof of concept to production. They leverage a taskforce of technology experts, product specialists, IP lawyers, innovation managers, and technopreneurs to transform ideas into scalable go-to-market products. The studio has co-financing from European funds POR FESR Lazio 2014-2020 and operates with a claimed 60% success rate. In 2024, TechBricks launched NextGen Impact Capital, a 20 million euro venture studio fund focused on deep tech and sustainability startups.
