R/GA IoT Venture Studio UK was a London-based venture studio and accelerator program that supported early-stage and growth-stage startups using Internet of Things technology to create disruptive products and services. Launched in collaboration with Innovate UK, the UK Government's innovation agency, the program focused on companies bringing digital innovation into the real world across IoT and Connected Spaces. The program provided startups with capital investment, co-working space at R/GA's Shoreditch headquarters, and direct access to R/GA's award-winning business transformation, strategic marketing, branding, design, and technology services. Beyond financial investment, the studio emphasized creating business development opportunities, partnerships, and pilots with R/GA's global network of clients, industry partners, brand leaders, mentors, and investors. The program ran two successful cohorts in 2017 and 2018, supporting 19 companies total, with notable exits including Sensible Object's acquisition by Niantic.
