Jumanji Studio is a startup studio dedicated to accelerating the world's transition toward a sustainable future by building solutions with sustainability and positive impact as their core focus. Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Singapore with operations in France (Bordeaux/Biarritz), Jumanji Studio operates as a venture builder that creates startups from scratch rather than functioning as a traditional fund. The studio unites passionate, forward-thinking entrepreneurs and experts from all industries to build and grow ventures with positive impacts on society and the environment. Jumanji's model is distinguished by their hands-on approach - they act as startup co-founders, providing capital to test and launch business ideas, fuel them with talents, generate traction, catalyze new funding, and maintain shareholding, governance, and management continuity when needed. The studio was founded by three entrepreneurs: Valerian Fauvel (corporate finance and impact investing expertise, former partner in a pioneer impact VC fund in Asia), Clement Hochart (tech entrepreneur), and Maximilien Masson (tech entrepreneur). Since 2019, Jumanji has launched 7 startups, brought in 10+ entrepreneurs as co-founders, assembled a community of 60+ industry experts and mentors, raised cumulative €2.5 million across studio startups, and achieved one exit (barePack sold to &repeat). The studio focuses exclusively on circular economy and impact ecosystem themes, partnering with best-in-class talents and providing entrepreneurs with an ambitious setting, strong networks, and operational support. Jumanji investors directly buy into the sweat equity pool of an innovative portfolio of startups, with the possibility to invest directly in individual companies as they grow and raise subsequent funding rounds. The studio's philosophy emphasizes building actual businesses made to deliver impact, focusing on a small number of sound business models rather than chasing unicorns. The studio operates with the principle of doing a lot with little, using funds wisely to test early models and create traction.
