FedTech is a venture studio and accelerator founded in 2015 that specializes in transforming federally-funded research and development into market-ready commercial solutions. The organization bridges the gap between groundbreaking technologies from federal laboratories, universities, and research institutions with entrepreneurial talent to create high-growth deep tech ventures. FedTech partners with U.S. federal agencies including the Department of Defense, NASA, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security, and dozens of other federal entities to identify high-potential innovations and commercialize cutting-edge research. The organization operates through multiple service lines including startup studios that build new ventures from scratch around federal IP, customized accelerator programs for scaling deep tech startups, internal innovation programs that bring commercial product development practices to technical organizations, and professional TABA and SBIR/STTR support services. FedTech's mission is to unlock the benefits of technology through entrepreneurially minded people, democratizing access to deep tech and empowering entrepreneurs to address critical challenges in aerospace, biotech, energy, defense, and beyond. Since 2015, FedTech has worked with over 700 companies that have collectively raised over $4 billion, created 170+ deep-tech startups, and accelerated 400+ companies with a 72% one-year survival rate.
