Fastlane Ventures was a Russian venture capital firm and internet business incubator established in 2010, specializing in the development, launch, and promotion of innovative internet businesses. The company operated a unique hybrid model combining seed investment with comprehensive operational support, acting as both an investing and operational partner. Fastlane focused on adapting successful Western business models to the Russian market, targeting business-to-consumer niche markets with low competition. The firm developed a proprietary methodology called 'Fast 50' which enabled new ventures to launch in just 50 days. Founded by Pascal Clément (CEO of Direct Group) and Oskar Hartmann (founder of KupiVIP.ru), along with CEO Marina Treshchova, the company successfully launched 20 internet startups across sectors including online retail, travel, dating, healthcare, and recruitment. In 2011, Forbes ranked Fastlane Ventures as the #2 investor in Russia. The company ceased operations in December 2018, having attracted over $100 million in investments and achieved multiple successful exits including the sale of Sapato.ru to Ozon and Teamo to Mamba.
